The Society of St. Vincent de Paul offers tangible and in-kind service to those in need.

The Saint Joseph Conference of Saint Vincent De Paul (SVDP) has been in existence for over ten years. Through home visits, Vincentian members establish personal relationship with neighbors in need, not only providing material assistance for basic needs such as rent, utilities, food, gas or repairs, but also offering friendship, understanding and prayer. Saint Vincent De Paul works closely with other area organizations to best serve those in need.

In addition, SVDP serves lunches in the summer to the youth of the area through the Lunch Bunch program. The St. Joseph group provides noon lunches to children on Mondays in the communities of Crosby, Ironton, and Deerwood.

All are welcome. There are no dues or special qualifications to join other than the desire to help those in need. Meetings are on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month at 8:45 a.m. in the St. Joseph's Education Building.
