Sacred Music Workshop
Sacred Music Workshop
This is an event for anyone to be involved in who wants to learn more about the Church's Liturgical Music.
There are different ways you may participate. Some people may want to attend all the events and all the days.
Others may only be able to attend a few or part of several days. We welcome anyone to participate who wants to.
The cost of registration is $25 for adults, $20 for children or $50 for a family. This covers all the meals and events.
Payments can be cash or check or credit card on the first day of your participation.
We want this to be a family friendly event, and an opportunity to grow in your understanding of our Catholic Worship.
You Should register if you plan to attend any or all of the meals, lectures, or practices
You do not need to register if you only plan to attend the Masses, or the Praying of Vespers
This is an opportunity for musicians and non-musicians alike to come and learn more about sacred music.
We will explore what it is, why it is important, and how to sing it.
There will be liturgies Mass and singing of the Divine Office as well as opportunities to practice and learn about both.

In General the evenings Thurs. Fri (until after Mass) and Sat. are meant for anyone who wants to learn more or participate.
The Day on Fri. and Sat. will be more for people who want to learn more about music and practice, and participate in the liturgies.
All are welcome to attend the events, but if you are wanting to simply learn more about Sacred Music
without singing then the evening sessions may be more your focus.
